🚀 Credit System V2

We’ve completely rebuilt how credits work in Databar.

🔒 Bank‑grade tracking

Our old system didn’t have a full ledger, which made it hard to analyze credit usage. Some users also ran into issues where credits were lost without data, or data was returned without credits being deducted.

We spent the past month rebuilding the credit system from the ground up. Now every credit is tracked with bank‑like security and transparency. At the end of August, all users will see credit analytics inside their workspace: full traceability of where credits were spent.

🔄 Credit Rollovers

We’re also introducing credit rollovers!

• Any unused credits on monthly plans will automatically roll over into the next month.

• Rolled over credits remain valid for one additional month before expiring.

• Quarterly and annual plans still get all credits upfront (so rollovers don’t apply).

📊 How it works

• Monthly plan example:

  You’re on Launch (1,000 credits/month). In Month 1 you only use 200. The 800 unused credits roll over.

  → In Month 2, you’ll have 1,800 credits (1,000 new + 800 rollover).

• Quarterly plan:

  Launch plan gives you 3,000 credits upfront. They expire at the end of the 3‑month term (or renewal).

• Annual plan:

  Launch plan gives you 12,000 credits upfront. They expire at the end of the annual term (or renewal).

📅 Add‑ons now sync with your billing cycle

Credit Add‑ons will now automatically align with your existing subscription:

• Monthly plans → Add‑ons are active for your current month, and any unused credits will roll over for one extra month (just like your base credits).

• Quarterly plans → Add‑ons stay valid for the length of your current 3‑month cycle.

• Annual plans → Add‑ons stay valid for the length of your annual cycle.

No more mismatched expirations or confusing timelines — add‑ons now fit seamlessly into your plan.

🔄 Self‑serve Plan Switching (From August 4)

You can now upgrade or downgrade your plan instantly from within Databar — no need to contact support.
