New
We’ve been quietly developing Databar for the past 3 years and we’re starting to think that was a mistake. Developing quietly means that many features get pushed and the whole team is working 90% of the time on building a kickass product, but not enough time is spent sharing the updates, listening to feedback, getting engagement from you - our users & partners - who are rooting for Databar’s success.
We’re radically shifting the way we’re going to develop the product moving forward, and in that spirit we’re prioritizing features that you request, ask for, and push for. Databar is going to be a product crafted by its users in all respects.
Releasing our public roadmap
Releasing our public change log
Releasing feature / integration / bug request board (with rewards! - read more below)
Adding a roadmap widget to the site, which will make it easier to engage with us while you’re building tables
We’re also improving our docs, which are already up but will soon include a variety of guides & helpful articles, as well as publishing videos more actively on our Youtube channel, LinkedIn, and X account with tutorials and guides.
Finally, we’ll start doing monthly webinars where we’ll discuss our latest updates, product improvements & answer any questions you may have.
The public roadmap will showcase only most of the features we’re currently working on, since not all features warrant a whole card on our roadmap. We’ll update the roadmap once a week.

The change log will showcase new features we released recently. If there’s nothing new in the change log, that doesn’t necessarily mean we haven’t shipped anything - the change log is mostly for major product updates & releases so we will update it once every 2-3 weeks.

The feature request board is where you can request for us to add new features, add new integrations, and where you can submit any bugs that you’ve found on the site.
Before submitting bugs, feature requests, and integration requests, please make sure to check if a card for it already exists & upvote it/comment in it if you find one.
If you’d like to submit a bug, please attach an image or ideally a video recording of the bug occurring. That will help us immensely to find & fix it. If you know how to use dev tools, any screenshots of errors would be very helpful too (although please do not reveal sensitive information).
Free credits! If you find a mission-critical bug (i.e. something broken or core functionality is off, we will send you free credits for sharing it!). Only applies if you’re the first to find it & it doesn’t currently exist in our roadmap/to-do list.
If you’d like to submit a feature request, please share why you’d like to get the feature so we can evaluate the timeline & prioritize it in our board.
To request an integration, please provide a link to the API so we can quickly find their docs and look into partnerships.
We’re now making our roadmap, feature requests, and change log public, and will pay very close attention to the features our users request and suggest. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via the community Discord.
